Hey everyone!
Wow, 2017 is almost over and I’ve got to say, it’s been a weird one. Great in some parts, very odd in others. I published my first book, went to Hawaii, moved to Houston, bought a beautiful new house, got knocked up on purpose, and even survived a hurricane. So much has been done and yet there’s still so much more to do. Good ol’2018 is going to be a busy one, but that’s great news for you all.
My plans for the coming year involve a vlog where I offer my writing advice, among other topics, and start pushing out pictures and Gadling-related short stories on here for my subscribers and Wattpad. Once I get the latter set up, I’ll share that information on here with everyone, too. I’ll be reading a few books during my predicted slow months, so I’ll post my thoughts and reviews on those as well. My pictures will be coming along much faster as I’m not going to be coloring them all. That takes up so much of my time, it’s ridiculous.
The coming project, working title: Leyna, is progressing nicely. It’s heavier on the fantasy than sci-fi this time, but it’s still going to be considered both genres. This one isn’t a two-parter like The Gadling Legacy: Haven’s Fall, but a lengthy series with a fully fleshed out world. If all goes well, book one will be released late 2018! The final part of The Gadling Legacy will be coming, too, but that date is less certain.
Sorry everyone, no dog pictures this time around. My trusty laptop has decided to stop connecting to the internet and goes just slow enough that I keep imagining myself throwing it across the room, but then it kicks into gear just before the boiling point. Here’s hoping I can get that fixed before 2018, lol.
Bye!
